The competition, through global linkage, with an international perspective, deeply explores the sustainable design concepts and the most cutting-edge innovative practice works that lead the future development of the human settlements, setting an example for the world, and is also the driving force for future innovation and progress. The award is the highest recognition for individuals, teams or projects that have shown outstanding performance in the field of sustainability.

Shanxi Great Wall No.1 Tourist Highway

长城一号旅游公路宁武段提质增效项目

山西长城一号旅游公路，是一条贯穿大同、朔州、忻州三个地级市的旅游线路，不仅承载推动山西文旅振兴的重任，更是拉动县域经济、助力沿线农民群众增收致富的核心动脉。

The Shanxi Great Wall No.1 Tourist Highway is a tourist route that runs through three prefecture level cities, Datong, Shuo Zhou, and Xin Zhou. It not only carries the important task of promoting the revitalization of Shanxi's cultural and tourism industry, but also serves as the core artery for driving the county's economy and helping farmers along the route increase their income and become prosperous.

为了盘活沿线传统村落，帮助村民发展起生态旅游产业，项目主要设计内容包括：村域空间规划、安置房改造、配套设施设计、乡村景观提升等多个方面。

In order to revitalize these traditional villages along the line and help the villagers develop the ecological tourism industry, the main design content of the project includes: village space, resettlement housing renovation, supporting facilities design, rural landscape improvement and many other aspects.
